- How do I buy equipment from HDD Broker?
-
It's easy! Just give us a call or send us an e-mail and let us know what equipment you are interested in. One of our knowledgeable sales staff will answer your questions regarding the equipment, make inspection arrangements (if needed), and coordinate transportation. We will also facilitate financing, transferring of funds between parties, and complete shipping and customs documentation. We try to make the process effortless for both the buyer and the seller.
- How do I pay for the equipment?
-
HDD Broker LLC accepts payment on behalf of our clients via wire transfer. For your convenience, Visa, MasterCard and certified funds may be accepted on a per-sale basis. Once we receive your payment, we will forward it to the seller at the appropriate time.
- Where is the equipment located?
-
Our listings originate from individuals, banks and dealers located around the world. Currently, the vast majority of listings are usually found in the United States.
- How do I get the equipment to me?
-
There are two options.
The first is to pick up your new purchase yourself from the buyer's facilities. All necessary permits and associated costs are your responsibility. This is typically a good way to save a bit of money, but may take up valuable time and resources.
The second is to get the package shipped. The arrangements for this can be handled directly by yourself, or HDD Broker can do all the work for you. We use a host of experienced and professional shipping companies that can take anything anywhere (for the right price, of course). Small packages typically ship via UPS or FedEx couriers. Larger shipments travel via LTL (less than load) or dedicated truck shipment.
International customers can rest assured that our ocean freight brokerage is second to none, and we have successfully shipped our equipment listings all over the world.
If time is an issue and cost is not, air freight can also be arranged for almost any package as well.
- Do I need to use HDD Broker to get my purchase shipped?
-
Absolutely not! If you want to pick up the equipment or use your own shipping agent to get it delivered, you are more than welcome to do so. We just need to know the details so that all parties can be informed prior to pickup.
- Do you ship internationally?
-
HDD Broker ships worldwide! We have many clients in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Asia who have successfully exported equipment to and from the US.
- How much will shipping cost?
-
Freight prices vary by destination as well as other factors such as size and weight of the equipment, number of truck loads and whether it's a partial load (LTL shipment) or a dedicated load.
Shipping is a competitive business, so shipping costs are often cheaper than you think! HDD Broker makes your purchasing decision easy by providing shipping quotes for any of our online listings.
We obtain quotes from several different companies and send you the best price. The carriers we use are all familiar with the loading requirements of directional drills so they are better able to facilitate the shipment.
Of course, if you have a shipping company that you'd prefer to use, we'd be happy to work with them.
- Can I finance the equipment that I find on HDD Broker?
-
HDD Broker works with several finance companies, include some that specialise in start-ups, lower credit situations, and even out-of-country equipment! There are many financing options available, and we highly recommend that you talk to your local HDD Broker representative to get the process started. Once we determine the best finance company for your needs, we'll securely send them your initial application. The finance or lease company will be in touch with you directly for additional information. Most finance companies can provide a credit decision in 24-48 hours*. This puts the buyer in a far better position to close a deal quickly, and with minimal hassle for all parties involved.
* Most credit decisions are made within 48 hours of receipt of the credit information, however, some delay may occur based on individual credit situations.
- Do I have to sign an exclusive sales contract?
-
No! There is no contractual obligation to HDD Broker LLC when you list your rig. Only when we have a buyer interested in your equipment do we require a signed sales contract before proceeding. That means you are not financially obligated to HDD Broker, Inc. unless we sell your rig. If you sell your rig yourself, all that we ask is that you inform us so that we may remove your ad.
- How do I get paid for my equipment?
-
When HDD Broker LLC receives funds from the buyer, we will wire the payment directly to your account - it's that simple! Depending on when the wire is initiated, and which country you are in, your money could arrive in your account in as little as 20 minutes!
- Does HDD Broker buy equipment?
-
HDD Broker is a brokerage firm that acts on behalf of buyers and sellers, so we do not take ownership of equipment. However, we have a dedicated wholesale department that has a network of dealers, rental companies, and vendors that are always ready to buy. Please contact us to for more information.
- Do I need to offer shipping on my equipment package?
-
Absolutely not. That's what we're here for!
Offering shipping options for your equipment is a great way to increase the saleability of your package, however HDD Broker also offers extremely competitive shipping options both domestically and internationally for all of our buyers.
We do ask that, as a seller, you try to be as accomodating as possible in regards to making loading facilities and personnel available for our shipping agents. This ensures a smooth and trouble-free shipping process for all parties.

-
